We did not set out to build a CMMS.
We kept running into the reason one was missing.
Arcana Soft started in 2023 as ERP integrators. We spent our first years inside other people's systems - mapping processes, migrating data, wiring finance to procurement to stock for companies that had outgrown spreadsheets.
The same gap showed up on every project. The ERP knew what a machine cost and when it was bought. It had nothing to say about whether it was running. Between the general ledger and the plant floor there was a void, and it was filled with phone calls, WhatsApp groups, and one person's memory.
Four chapters, one thread
Each one taught us something the next could not have worked without.
Learning where the data stops
We integrated ERP systems for companies across manufacturing and distribution. We learned how enterprise data actually moves - and precisely where it stops moving. Maintenance was always the last mile nobody had wired.
Building for the plant floor
So we built maintenance software for industry. Real assets, real breakdowns, real technicians who will not use a tool that takes more than thirty seconds. This is where we learned that adoption, not features, is what kills maintenance software.
Proving it at volume
Major distributors brought us a harder problem: many sites, thousands of assets, tight cold-chain and compliance obligations, and no tolerance for downtime. Multi-tenancy, audit trails and inventory costing stopped being roadmap items and became the product.
The same system, a new floor
A hotel is a factory that guests walk through. Same assets, same preventive schedules, same compliance - plus a guest in room 412 whose shower is cold right now. Arckium moved into hospitality, healthcare and commercial property because the operating system underneath turned out to be the same one.

We came from ERP integration, so we treat a system that cannot talk to your PMS, your accounting, or your procurement as unfinished. Arckium was designed from the connector inwards, not bolted on afterwards.
